Introduction
This LOCEPX Training course equips leaders to move workforce planning beyond headcount and recruitment towards a strategic understanding of the people, skills and capabilities the organisation will need in the future. This LOCEPX Training course develops the capability to connect business strategy with workforce demand, assess current workforce capacity and capability, identify critical gaps and make informed decisions about how those gaps should be addressed.
Traditional workforce planning based primarily on existing roles and historical demand is increasingly inadequate in an environment shaped by AI, automation, new operating models and rapidly changing skills requirements. Workforce Forward™ provides a structured approach for understanding what work the organisation will need, what capabilities will be required to deliver it and how the workforce must evolve. Participants will explore workforce demand and supply, skills intelligence, scenario planning, critical roles, capability gaps and alternative workforce strategies. The programme enables leaders to make more deliberate decisions about whether capability should be built, bought, borrowed, redeployed, automated or accessed through strategic partnerships, creating a workforce that is aligned with both current priorities and future organisational direction.
